Amanda Gorman is America’s first national youth poet laureate. She read her poem, “The Hill We Climb”, at President Biden’s inauguration.
She is highly honoured by many and was the youngest inaugural poet in Presidential Inauguration History. Amanda Gorman was so impressive in her reading that she was invited to recite a poem at Superbowl LV, February 7th, 2021.

Reflection – Amanda Gorman is an amazing young poet who became famous after reading her poem, “The Hill We Climb”, at President Joe Biden’s Presidential Inauguration. Although success may seem sudden there is always previous work and dedication that precedes the moment.
Most people may not have heard of Amanda Gorman prior to her Presidential Inauguration appearance however her sacrifice and dedication clearly prepared her for the historic moment as she was truly amazing and an inspiration to multitudes of young people around the world.
When Amanda was asked if she would be running for President in 2036 she answered, “Oh heck yeah, plan on it”.
Congratulations to Amanda Gorman on all of her successes. She left a lasting impact at the inauguration and has been added to the Superbowl LV Festivities where I’m sure she’ll be just as impressive and impactful… “President Amanda Gorman” has a nice ring to it.
