Today we honour the men and women who have served and sacrificed their lives for the freedom we have today.
It’s ironic how we can be divided as people and a country, but at the same time come together as one unified military. At the end of the day there is no colour in team, winning or fighting side by side for the preservation of one’s life.

Blackface is a form of theatrical make-up used predominantly by non-black performers to represent a caricature of a black person. The practice gained popularity during the 19th century and contributed to the spread of racial stereotypes such as the “happy-go-lucky darky on the plantation” or the “dandified coon”. Black face was also used as a tool during the racially segregated era to discriminate against black people.
